Job licenses

Job licenses are bought in advance and used one at a time. Your balance is tracked per plan tier.

When is a license used?

Exactly once per job: when an admin marks the job Ready. The confirmation dialog shows your balance before and after, so there are no surprises.

Starting the count later (Ready → Active) checks your subscription again but does not use another license.

Getting a license back

Cancel a job from Ready or Active before any scans come in and the license goes back to your balance. Once scanning has started, the job can't be cancelled. Licenses come back as balance, not as money.

Out of licenses?

Marking Ready with an empty balance shows a payment required message with a quote — you can buy licenses in that dialog and carry on.

Buying and managing

• Settings → Billing → Licenses — buy licenses, see your balance and history.
• Settings → Billing → Invoices — download invoices.
• The Stripe customer portal (linked from Billing) handles payment methods and the subscription itself.
