Mobile App
The mobile app is where counting happens. Supervisors use it to invite scanners and monitor from the floor; Scanners use it for everything.
Signing in
Sign in with your username (or email) and password. The app remembers your session, so you won't need to sign in every day. You can also register a new account or reset a forgotten password right from the sign-in screen.
New accounts without an organization land on a "waiting for an invitation" screen — that's expected. Either get invited, or scan a job QR code to jump straight into counting.
Two screens, that's it
The app has just two bottom tabs: Counting (scan things) and Records (review what you scanned). Everything else — jobs, locations, the product catalog, settings — lives in the drawer behind your avatar.
Supervisor vs Scanner in the app
- Supervisors see the full job list, pick any assigned job, and generate the Scanner Access QR from the job card. They can also revoke access there.
- Scanners don't see a job list. They get a single Scan to start button, scan the supervisor's QR code, and only ever sync the job they joined.
Offline behavior
The app is built for bad Wi-Fi:
- The product catalog is a compressed offline copy on your phone — scans resolve instantly with no network.
- Counts save as local drafts first and upload in the background.
- Offline you can keep scanning, but you can't create new locations or edit/delete already-uploaded records.
- The app does need to go online at least once to verify your subscription before it lets you work.
If the subscription lapses, the app shows a "workspace unavailable" screen. Your unsent records stay safely on the device, and everything unlocks again once access is restored.
App language
The app interface is currently English-only.
